Pricing & Quotes

Scaffolding costs depend on many factors including height, length, duration, and access requirements. Domestic jobs typically start from £{X} per week. Commercial projects are quoted individually. Use our online quote form for a tailored estimate.

Our quotes are fixed once we’ve completed a site survey (for larger jobs) or received accurate measurements. We only change prices if the scope of work changes.

No, all quotes are free and without obligation. For larger commercial projects, we may need to conduct a site survey, but this is also free.

We accept bank transfer, card payments, and for commercial customers, we can set up 30-day accounts. Payment terms are agreed before work begins.

Timelines & Scheduling

For standard domestic jobs, we can typically install within 3-5 working days of accepting a quote. Urgent installations may be possible sooner – contact us to discuss.

Most domestic scaffolds are erected in half a day to one day. Larger commercial scaffolds may take several days depending on complexity.

We offer flexible hire extensions. Just let us know before your original hire period ends and we’ll extend at the agreed weekly rate.

Yes, we can arrange weekend installations if required. Weekend work may incur additional charges – we’ll confirm this at quote stage.

Permits & Licences

Do I need a permit for scaffolding?

If your scaffolding will stand on public land (pavements, roads), you’ll need a licence from your local council. We handle all permit applications for you.

Most councils require 10-15 working days notice for standard applications. We recommend planning ahead where possible.

We can often design scaffolds to avoid neighbouring land. If access is essential, we can advise on your options including the Access to Neighbouring Land Act.

Council permit fees are passed on at cost – we don’t add handling fees. We’ll confirm expected permit costs at quote stage.

Access & Requirements

We need sufficient space to erect the scaffold and access for our lorry to deliver materials. Minimum access width is typically 1 metre. We’ll discuss any access restrictions during the quote process.

Yes, we have experience with narrow access, soft ground, and other challenging conditions. We may use different equipment or methods, which we’ll explain at quote stage.

We’ll assess the location and either design around the cables or arrange for temporary disconnection with the utility company if safe working distances cannot be maintained.

Usually no – scaffolding is erected from the outside. However, for some designs, internal ties may be needed. We’ll discuss this with you first.

Quote Information

We need to know: the type of work, property type, number of elevations needing access, approximate height and length, your postcode, and any access restrictions.

For simple domestic jobs, yes – clear photos showing all elevations and the access route help us quote accurately. For complex jobs, we may need a site visit.

For larger commercial projects, yes. For most domestic work, accurate measurements or photos are sufficient. Site surveys are free.

Online quotes are estimates based on the information provided. Final quotes are confirmed once we’ve verified the details – usually this matches the estimate.
